Restoration of notaries' boxes, entirely covered in handwritten letters with a parchment finish. These boxes, originally, held the diverse papers in the notary's office. Considerable restoration was done, as much on the leather as the parchment, which were dirt-encrusted, torn or inexistent. The goal of the restoration is to make the missing parts and give them a patina so that the restoration blends in with the existing part.
