Box called "in mock book spines", allowing you to put away either papers or objects and giving the illusion that two 18th century books are superimposed.
Restoration of the old leathers, of the gilding of mock book spines,
touching up the title and, finally, adding tint and patina to the
box.
As to the reproduction, it was done based on the same model as the old one, using the same sorts of leathers and the same kind of gilding. All with a lot of patina to give the illusion it is old.
